| Poronui Ranch offers the classic New Zealand fly fishing experience. Situated in a
secluded high country valley, this vast private estate comprises 16,000 acres of grassland and
indigenous forests. There are over 25 miles of private fishing beats on the property
alone. Four wheel drive vehicles and helicopters give access to many more free stone
streams and spring creeks that drain the bush clad mountains of the central North Island.
Expect to find wild brown and rainbow trout in crystal clear water that rise freely to a dry fly
during summer. |

| The main lodge is very comfortable with a log fire and open kitchen. Individual guest
cabins are tastefully furnished and extremely well appointed and the whole facility manages to
retain a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Excellent meals featuring local produce are served
and these are complimented with a selection of world class wines from the lodge’s excellent
cellar. |
