| Heartland Lodge is situated in beautiful alpine scenery in the heart of the Mount Cook/McKenzie Country. The fishing is diverse - from large lakes and open braided river systems to smaller streams and spring creeks. The Ahuriri and Tekapo Rivers are only 30 minutes from the lodge. The lodge has four rooms with private bathrooms, and guest sitting room. Breakfast is included and there are a number of restaurants in Twizel for dinner. |

OWEN RIVER LODGE

 Owen River Lodge is a boutique fly fishing lodge offering friendly and relaxed hospitality. It is located in the Owen Valley, in the Nelson Lakes district of the South Island of New Zealand in the middle of one of the best trout fisheries in the world. The lodge has one mile of river frontage on the banks of the Owen River, ideal for that quiet after-dinner cast during the evening rise. Facilities comprise the main lodge building which includes the dining room, lounge room, sitting room and of course, the bar.
To ensure privacy, guests are accommodated in cottages located in a 16 acre garden with stunning views of the river, the valley and the mountains beyond. |

WAPITI PARK
|
 Wapiti Park is located on the west coast of the South Island about half an hour's drive from the Franz Joseph Glacier. It is an ideal place to stop on your tour of New Zealand to fish for 2 day's on the La Fontaine - a really beautiful spring creek which holds a good population of wild brown trout and visit the Franz Joseph Glacier. The lodge specialises in breeding Rocky Mountain Elk (Wapiti) and has 5 rooms with private bathrooms and two guest lounges. Good food and wine are served. |
