Norway Overview
Please join us to fish one of the famous Norwegian Rivers for salmon in 2011. We are fortunate to have space on some of the peak weeks, the best time to fish in Norway, and we are pleased to be able to offer them to you. Prices and weeks are listed under each river and you will find what each price includes in the price sheet in our brochure. We would be happy to discuss your holiday plans with you and can send a detailed brochure about the various rivers.
Fishing
Fishing in Norway presents the opportunity of big salmon, mighty rivers and spectacular scenery. Norwegian rivers are still the world's major spawning grounds for the Atlantic salmon, due to the unpolluted environment, competent management and the strict regulations on netting.
Generally, the best time for salmon fishing is from mid-July to mid-August, but this may vary locally.
We offer fishing on the following rivers: Gaula, Orkla, Flam, Surna, Suldal, Abjora, Stjordal, Verdal and Namsen
