Shark Fishing
Shark fishing from the beach. The destination is suitable for fishermen and non-fishing partners
Suggested Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival at Windhoek international airport, road transfer to Eros airport for flight to Walvis Bay. There you will be met and transferred to your accommodation in Swakopmund with a short town tour. Dinner will be served in a local restaurant. Overnight and breakfast in a private hotel/pension in the centre of town. Accommodation in 2-bed room with dinner and breakfast included - A la mer.
Day 2 - Depart at 8h30 to the area of Mile 8, to enjoy the first angling day. Get familiar with the local angling conditions, today the usual surf angling will be practised. Return to Swakopmund at approx. 16h00. Dinner at a restaurant at the beach front. Accommodation in 2-bed room with full board - A la Mer.
Day 3 & 4 - Full angling day from the beach between Swakopmund and Sandwich Harbor. The days will be mainly spent with emphasis of Shark angling. Return to hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner at a cosy restaurant in town. Accommodation with full board - A la Mer.
Day 5 - Driving further to the Skeleton coast park, where there is a very famous spot, called Terrace Bay. Here we will try our luck for some excellent fishing in the 20 km long bay. Accommodation with full board - Terrace Bay Camp.
Day 6 - Enjoy another full day angling in the bay of Terrace Bay. Accommodation with full board - Terrace Bay Camp.
Day 7 - After breakfast angling on the way towards Cape Cross. Stop at various great angling spots with emphasis on shark angling. Arrive at Cape Cross Lodge in the late afternoon and after check in, enjoy the sunset at the beach and dinner in the restaurant. Accommodation with full board - Cape Cross Lodge.
Day 8 - Return to Swakopmund and to Walvis Bay for flight to Windhoek at 14h00. Transfer to a hotel for the last night in Namibia.
