Big Game Fishing

There are over 50 species of shark in the western Cape and it is renowned for its Great White Shark fishing.  If sharks are not your target there is spectacular fly and conventional fishing for yellowfin, albacore (Longfin) and big-eye tuna and swordfish.  Yellowfin and big-eye tuna range from 80-200lbs and albacore from 16-60lbs.  In-shore game fishing for southern yellowtail (4-24lbs) is excellent sport on a fly.  Snook are found between May and October.
