SANTA CRUZ
Located in the Santa Cruz Province in Argentina, Jurassic Lake is nothing short of a biological anomaly and is an exceptionally prolific trophy rainbow fishery. Located at 3,000ft elevation, this 20 x 15 km lake is teeming with massive rainbow trout over 10lbs as well as many over 20lbs plus. Fishing is best from November to the end of April.
Jurassic Lake Lodge is strategically located on a protected bay within walking distance of the mouth of the Barrancoso River, Stobel Lake’s only significant tributary. This inlet is home to the most productive waters of the entire lake. The lodge can host up to ten anglers in single and double occupancy rooms with private bathrooms. Despite the remote and windswept location in Southern Argentine Patagonia, the Lodge remains connected to the outside world through satellite phones, satellite television and high speed internet access. Electricity is provided around the clock with our solar power system. Delicious food is served.
