Not long after, trout were introduced from England—a formidable task at the time. These trout eventually adapted to the ocean, and today, the Rio Gallegos boasts one of the world’s premier sea-run brown trout populations. 

Bella Sofia welcome only six rods per week, ensuring a truly exclusive and personalized experience on what is considered one of the best sea trout rivers in the world. With more than 10 km of river per angler, Bella Sofia is among the most private fisheries in South America.
