Verdal River - Norway

After previous years successes, we are thrilled to be running 8 weeks on the Verdal River in 2024. The Verdal, alongside its tributaries the Inna and the Helga, runs through a valley in the Tondelag region of Norway. Forward thinking management by the leasholders and local angling association has been vital in maintaining stocks of salmon and sea trout over the last decade.

The river has about 30 kilometres of good salmon fishing. Like most rivers in the Central Norway region, the Verdal is known for big salmon, with fish in the 12 - 16 kilo (25 - 35lb) range caught each season. The lodge has exclusive double bank fishing on 16 pools on the river.

Dates:  16 - 23 June (fully booked), 23 - 30 June (fully booked), 21 - 28 July (fully booked), 28 July - 4 August (fully booked), 18 - 25 August (fully booked)
