Mexico - Ascension Bay
3rd - 11th July 2026
Migratory Tarpon Week
In July, Ascension Bay sees the arrival of migratory tarpon moving through its channels and deeper lagoons. These powerful fish, often ranging from 40 to over 100 pounds, provide thrilling sight-fishing opportunities as they roll and feed in the warm, clear water. Early mornings and calm conditions offer the best chances to spot them cruising the flats or laid up in the channels.
The Bahamas - Crooked Island
30th October - 7th November 2026
6th - 14th November 2026
On Crooked Island, the tides ebb and flow to their ancient rhythm, with the moon drawing full each month. The bonefish here are guided by these lunar cycles, cruising lazily on and off the extensive flats. Prime bonefish habitat stretches all the way to the southern tip of Acklins Island, about 35 miles away, offering anglers access to some of the most remote and rewarding fishing in the southern Bahamas.
Greenland - Sassannguit
2nd - 11th August 2026
Experience fly fishing for Arctic char in West Greenland, on the 15 km Sassannguit River right on the Arctic Circle. Limited to six anglers, you’ll enjoy pristine wilderness and private fishing. Beyond char, optional trips target halibut, cod, Atlantic wolffish, and salmon, while the surrounding Arctic landscape offers hiking, wildlife viewing—including reindeer and musk oxen—and foraging blue mussels at low tide.
Iceland - Laxa i Adaldal
24th - 29th August 2026
Hosted by Charles Jardine, this late-August adventure explores two of North Iceland’s most celebrated trout systems: the mighty Laxá í Aðaldal and the intimate Reykjadalsá. The focus is on large, wild brown trout, fished with dry fly and nymph in clear water. Beyond trout there are genuine chances for char and Atlantic salmon.
