Hosted Trips

HOSTED TRIPS

Each year, we offer a selection of hosted trips to world-class fishing destinations, including The Bahamas, Mexico, Cuba, Los Roques, Norway, British Columbia, and Iceland.

Your host will ensure everything runs smoothly, answer any questions, and provide advice on fishing techniques.

If you're a solo traveller looking for a like-minded group, or if you'd like to explore a new destination with knowledgeable guidance, our hosted trips are the perfect opportunity. Whether you're traveling alone, with a friend, or as part of a group, you'll be warmly welcomed.

Our team of hosts includes Charles Jardine, Mark Bowler, Tony Fox, John Olav Oldren, Colin Macleod, Dave Grove and Bernie Maher.

The Bahamas - Crooked Island
13th - 21st November 2026

On Crooked Island, the tides ebb and flow to their ancient rhythm, with the moon drawing full each month. The bonefish here are guided by these lunar cycles, cruising lazily on and off the extensive flats. Prime bonefish habitat stretches all the way to the southern tip of Acklins Island, about 35 miles away, offering anglers access to some of the most remote and rewarding fishing in the southern Bahamas.

Mexico - Ascension Bay
13th - 21st November 2026

Set in the tranquil fishing village of Punta Allen on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, Ascension Bay Lodge offers a memorable saltwater fly fishing experience in the heart of the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve.

Mexico - Ascension Bay
29th January - 6th February 2027
12th - 20th March 2027

The fishing at Ascension Bay Lodge can be exceptional, with primary target species including permit, bonefish, tarpon, snook, jacks, barracuda, and snapper. The lodge is just 50 yards from the water’s edge, with unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea. Located at the edge of the village, it provides a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day on the water. The lodge boasts a healthy fishery and outstanding hospitality, with beer, wine, and margaritas included.

Los Roques
28th November - 5th December 2026

Los Roques is one of the Caribbean’s truly great saltwater fly fishing destinations — a vast protected marine park of turquoise lagoons, coral islands, white sand flats, and endless shallow water. Located some 120km north of Caracas, the archipelago comprises more than 350 islands and cays and remains remarkably untouched.

Los Roques
9th - 16th January 2027

Traditionally celebrated as one of the world’s finest bonefishing destinations, Los Roques offers exceptional numbers of fish, with bonefish averaging 3–5lbs and larger specimens encountered regularly. Increasingly, however, anglers are drawn by the remarkable diversity of the fishery. Juvenile tarpon patrol the lagoons and mangroves, permit tail across the flats, while triggerfish, snook, barracuda, jacks, parrotfish, and larger migratory tarpon all provide exciting opportunities throughout the week.

The Bahamas - Mayaguana
4th - 12th March 2027

The lodge is just 50 yards from the water’s edge, with unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea. Located at the edge of the village, it provides a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day on the water. The lodge boasts a healthy fishery and outstanding hospitality, with beer, wine, and margaritas included.
