Mexico - Ascension Bay
13th - 21st March 2026
Using the best local guides and Panga-style boats, fish the flats and lagoons of Ascension Bay. Ascension Bay is amongst the best permit fisheries in the world, with bonefish and tarpon also plentiful. Boats will collect you each morning outside the lodge, and on returning in the afternoon a cocktail will await you.
Norway - Verdal
7th - 14th June 2026
21st - 28th June 2026
Tingvoll Lodge offers a superb Atlantic salmon fishing experience in Norway. Situated in the beautiful Trøndelag region, the lodge is a thoughtfully refurbished barn with classic Scandinavian style, offering a comfortable and welcoming base.
Mexico - Ascension Bay
3rd - 11th July 2026
Migratory Tarpon Week
In July, Ascension Bay sees the arrival of migratory tarpon moving through its channels and deeper lagoons. These powerful fish, often ranging from 40 to over 100 pounds, provide thrilling sight-fishing opportunities as they roll and feed in the warm, clear water. Early mornings and calm conditions offer the best chances to spot them cruising the flats or laid up in the channels.
The Bahamas - Mayaguana
23rd April - 1st May 2026
This escorted DIY trip to Mayaguana, with Mark Bowler, is about as close as it gets to old-school Bahamian flats fishing. Mayaguana is the most easterly island in the Bahamas and one of the least developed, with vast, lightly fished flats and a population of just a few hundred.
The Bahamas - Crooked Island
30th October - 7th November 2026
6th - 14th November 2026
On Crooked Island, the tides ebb and flow to their ancient rhythm, with the moon drawing full each month. The bonefish here are guided by these lunar cycles, cruising lazily on and off the extensive flats. Prime bonefish habitat stretches all the way to the southern tip of Acklins Island, about 35 miles away, offering anglers access to some of the most remote and rewarding fishing in the southern Bahamas.
British Columbia - Skeena
1st - 9th August 2026
The Skeena Watershed is one of the world’s most remarkable river systems. Each year, around five million salmon return to its waters, and it remains the foremost producer of trophy Steelhead anywhere. Fishing is organised by the experienced Darren Bisson, who takes clients to his favourite, more secluded stretches of the Skeena system.
Cuba - Cayo Romano
28th November - 5th December 2026
Located on the north shore of Camagüey province, Cayo Romano (formerly Cayo Cruz) offers a vast, 366-square-kilometre playground of flats, lagoons, and untouched estuaries, giving each skiff more than 50 square kilometres to explore daily.
The firm white sand and semi-solid mottled flats make wading a joy, allowing anglers to spend hours on foot if they so wish. Beyond bonefish and permit, the fishery also offers excellent tarpon opportunities, with 30–90 pound fish waiting for Grand Slam seekers.
