On Crooked Island, the tides ebb and flow to their ancient rhythm, with the moon drawing full each month. The bonefish here are guided by these lunar cycles, cruising lazily on and off the extensive flats. Prime bonefish habitat stretches all the way to the southern tip of Acklins Island, about 35 miles away, offering anglers access to some of the most remote and rewarding fishing in the southern Bahamas.

After a great day on the flats, you can return to a comfortable base and enjoy delicious home-cooked meals at Gibson’s Cafe, just a short walk from the guest house. These meals emphasise fresh, locally sourced seafood, making them the perfect end to your day.

Crooked Island offers the perfect setting for this adventure. Its vast white sand flats and crystal-clear waters are home to abundant numbers of bonefish, including some impressively large specimens. The area also provides opportunities to catch permit, triggerfish, snook, barracuda, and more, thanks to its rich and well-managed fishery.
