THE EXUMAS

The Exumas are a beautiful chain of islands in The Bahamas, renowned for their turquoise waters, white sand beaches and excellent saltwater fishing.

Great Exuma and Little Exuma offer some particularly good bonefishing, with extensive shallow flats that are well suited to wading. The pale sandy bottoms provide excellent visibility in suitable conditions, allowing anglers to stalk cruising and tailing bonefish on foot.

The fishing is varied, with opportunities to explore sheltered bays, mangrove shorelines and more exposed ocean-side flats. Experienced local guides can take anglers to a wide range of productive waters, while the surrounding reefs and deeper channels also offer opportunities for other saltwater species and offshore fishing.

Hideaways Exuma
