ISLA MARISOL

Isla Marisol Resort is situated on a beautiful private island on Glover's Reef Atoll, approximately 36 miles off the coast of Belize. Surrounded by turquoise waters, coral reefs and extensive shallow flats, it offers a wonderful combination of saltwater fly fishing and relaxed island hospitality.

Glover's Reef is one of Belize's most spectacular marine environments, with excellent opportunities to target bonefish, permit and tarpon. The extensive flats surrounding the atoll provide exciting sight-fishing for bonefish and permit, while deeper channels and lagoon waters can hold large tarpon, together with barracuda, jacks and other species.

The fishing is varied, with experienced local guides exploring the flats, reef edges and sheltered waters according to the tides and conditions. The remote location and beautiful surroundings make this a particularly memorable place to fish.

Accommodation is in comfortable, air-conditioned beachfront cabanas with private bathrooms. Meals are included and served in a friendly, informal atmosphere, with an emphasis on freshly prepared local food.
